It was sensational to see all the films at the Herberton Pocket Film Festival last night created by people across the Tablelands. An amazing effort by everyone involved.
To celebrate the new 'future film makers' category, we gave a $25 JB Hifi Gift Voucher to the top 3 stop motion films:
1st place (tied): The adventures of Pocket Worm (Atherton) - a creation that mesmerised us with its impeccable storyline, pacing, and sheer artistry
1st place (tied): Attack of the killer dinosaur (Malanda) - A production that boasted a stellar storyline, outstanding pacing, and breathtaking scenes and effects
2nd: The adventures of Sargent Muffin (Atherton) - Kudos to the authors presenting a film with such a riveting story arc. The diverse character movements and the meticulous attention to their delivery were truly a spectacle.
3rd: Alfreds Amazing Adventure (Ravenshoe) - This film captivated us with its fantastic character movements and engaging pacing. It took us on a delightful journey, making it a sheer joy to watch.
