Space Invaders are no match

🚀 Just had a blast at the Atherton Library's Microbit workshop! 🎮 We coded our own Space Invaders game using Microbit circuit boards and iPads. 😃

👾 The Microbit is a tiny, but powerful, board for coding and electronics. It's perfect for beginners and pros alike! 💡

Here's how it went down:

1️⃣ Learned the Basics: We kicked things off with a quick intro to Microbit. 🤓 It's amazing how this little board can do so much!

2️⃣ Coding Fun: Using iPads, we dived into the coding part. 🧩 It was surprisingly easy thanks to a drag-and-drop interface. No coding experience required!

3️⃣ Unleashed Creativity: Our inner game designers came out. 🚀 We customized our spaceships, invaders, and backgrounds, making our games one-of-a-kind.

4️⃣ Champion Debuggers: Not everything went smoothly, but that's part of the fun! We learned to spot and fix errors in our code, building problem-solving skills.

5️⃣ Game On!: Finally, we got to play our creations. 🕹️ The thrill of navigating our spaceships to defeat the invaders was priceless.
