Despite a windy day that could have been straight out of a fairy tale, Herberton Library hosted a fun workshop. Kids used simple supplies like paper, straws, pipe cleaners, and blu-tack (no glue or sticky tape) to build homes that even the big bad wolf couldn't destroy.
Inside, kids got creative, building sturdy shelters. Some made traditional straw-style cottages, while others went for a more modern design.
The workshop taught problem-solving, showing kids that even against challenges, they could achieve great things.
Despite the howling wind outside, the young engineers crafted homes that would keep their piggies safe from the big bad wolf.
