Dive into mechanical design and hands on engineering as you build your own working pinball machine using cardboard, rubber bands, popsicle sticks and everyday craft materials. You will design ramps, flippers, bumpers and obstacles that guide the ball through your custom game layout.
Throughout the workshop, you will explore core STEM concepts such as force, motion, energy transfer and simple machines. By testing and refining your designs, you will learn how small adjustments can change speed, direction and gameplay.
This creative session encourages problem solving, experimentation and design thinking while transforming simple materials into a fun, interactive arcade style game.
This workshop is made possible through the support of Tablelands Regional Council.
